Job brief

We are a successful IT , Software Development and Financing Company specializing in Education. opening a new branch in KZN. We are looking for a competitive field sales representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. You will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads and qualifying prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Regional Operation Manager  to develop a regional marketing plan.
  • Arrange and deliver product marketing and training for customers within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Research and customize training presentations & materials as necessary for various customer sites.
  • Arrange personal travel schedules within companies travel & expense guidelines.
  • Conduct online customer trainings regarding The Paperless School products and services.
  • Get the sales” using various sales methods.
  • Visit schools and do presentations around KZN.
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience
  • Valid Driver’s Licence COMPULSORY
  • Own reliable vehicle COMPULSORY
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Experience working with Bitrix24 or similar CRM
  • Knowledge area of KZN and residing locally.
  • Technology acumen – able to quickly learn & apply technology skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 70% of work time
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Computer use competency COMPULORY
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and driven
  • Marketing Qualification or equivalent
  • Commission Based during first 3months probation period. Permanent Appointment:

N/B Trainings and evaluations up to a maximum of 4-weeks will be conducted before appointment.

Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and
consistency of product and service delivery.

>> Possess strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales
>> Ability to maintain a neat and presentable personality
>> Strong persistence in dealing with people and not giving up easily
>> Possess self-confidence, positive mentality, with the ability to manage territories effectively
>> Strong product knowledge, client relation, and presentation skills
>>  Highly self motivated, with one year of computer service experience
>> Reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, with the ability to perform multiple assignments at the same time
>> Effective communication with customers, as well as strong follow-up skills
>> Strong technical abilities, with PC, CRM and Internet usage experience
>> Ability and willing to work on weekend and even on holidays
>> Ability to learn the art of professional greeting and attracting passive consumers, as well
as show passion to follow-up calls and sales activities.
